Eclipse, oil on panel, 6x6 inches
What started out as a simple subject turned into a very..... not..simple subject. I just happened upon this when I placed the glass of water on my foreground and the light pointed behind it. The values were soft, simple, and beautiful! I thought it would be easy, but I ended up working almost 2 hours trying to get my value relationships correct. But all the while it was a fun process because I just thought it was so beautiful, and I love the colors that came out.
